This Senior Cloud Engineer role supports applications and services delivered by ESG and subsidiary Pandell. You will troubleshoot complex production incidents, identify root causes, and implement lasting improvements. You will also establish service level objectives, practical alerting standards, and consistent operational practices for energy software platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot production incidents and implement lasting improvements
Establish service level objectives and alerting standards
Maintain VMware availability, capacity, and performance




Automate infrastructure monitoring, configuration, deployment, and recovery
Mentor engineers and contribute to technical standards
Requirements: Eight-plus years of relevant engineering experience
Robust VMware knowledge including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
Production experience running Docker and Kubernetes
Monitoring and observability experience, including Datadog
Scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go
Apply reliability engineering, observability, VMware expertise, and incident leadership to ESG’s cloud and on-premises services.
