and guiding the consistent application of engineering principles across GTM.Establish and govern engineering standards, specifications, procedures, design requirements, and technical practices for measurement systems and assigned pipeline equipment, including fittings, flanges, valves, materials, and mechanical joining.Serve as the technical authority for complex engineering matters, including equipment and technology selection, design decisions, failure analysis, systemic issue resolution, and technical risk management.Direct Asset Class Management by establishing lifecycle strategies, reliability priorities, technical requirements, risk treatments, Asset Class Plans, and long-term programs of spend.Advance safety, reliability, performance, and lifecycle outcomes by assessing equipment performance, emerging technologies, industry practices, asset condition, supportability, and recurring technical issues.Build technical capability by coaching and mentoring engineering professionals, strengthening knowledge
