Key Responsibilities: Set direction for card fraud prevention strategy
Evaluate fraud losses, operational costs, and client experience
Partner with Product and Engineering on controls
Recommend step-up authentication instead of hard declines
Influence stakeholders toward effective fraud decisions
Requirements: Six-plus years in fraud prevention
Three-plus years of direct card fraud experience
Advanced SQL and transaction-level data analysis
Explicit communication with technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to influence without direct authority
Use strategic judgment, clear communication, and fraud prevention expertise to reduce attacks while preserving Wealthsimple client access.
