Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician serving Northern Ontario from Greater Sudbury or Timmins.
Custom Truck One Source seeks a Remote Heavy Duty Equipment Technician with 421A, 310T Red Seal, or related journeyperson certification. You will work independently at customer locations, resolving complex equipment issues across utility and vocational trucks, aerial equipment, and specialized machinery. The position primarily follows Monday through Friday schedules.
Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on CTOS equipment
Service hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel engine systems
Complete inspections, repairs, reports, repair orders, and service documentation
Use laptops, schematics, manuals,



and diagnostic software to resolve issues
Communicate repair progress and additional needs with customers and management
Requirements: Ontario journeyperson skilled trades certificate or Red Seal certification
Solid mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting skills
Valid Class G or Class D driver's license
Ability to travel extensively throughout Northern Ontario
Own hand tools and basic Microsoft Office proficiency
Apply your field diagnostics, repair, and customer communication expertise to keep CTOS equipment operating throughout Northern Ontario.
