Support Seaspan’s Operations Team as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner focused on labour relations, investigations, and people strategy. This role is onsite in North Vancouver.
As a senior operational HR advisor, you will connect business objectives with workforce capabilities and organizational strategy. The role partners with Trade Superintendents, union representatives, and HR Centres of Excellence across talent acquisition, compensation, learning, wellness, and systems. You will also support change management and consistent employment practices.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with Trade Superintendents on people planning
Resolve labour issues through proactive communication
Coach leaders on performance and development planning
Interpret legislation, collective agreements,



and HR policies
Support organizational transformation and change management
Requirements: Progressive HR experience supporting operational teams
At least five years working in unionized environments
Experience with workplace investigations and performance management
Solid knowledge of British Columbia employment legislation
Ability to manage confidential information and priorities
Apply operational HR expertise, workforce planning, union partnership, and sound judgment while supporting Seaspan’s manufacturing environment.
