As a Software Engineer, you will build, maintain, and manage integration platforms supporting secure data flows across systems. You will shape Data Hub, optimize ingestion, and improve how customers connect HRIS, ATS, payroll, and other systems.
Key Responsibilities: Design and optimize integration workflows across systems
Build connectors for HRIS, ATS, and payroll APIs
Manage authentication, pagination, rate limits, and schema changes
Improve sync errors and customer-facing troubleshooting feedback
Establish integration patterns, documentation, and error-handling conventions
Requirements: Four or more years shipping production software
Python or Go and solid backend fundamentals
Third-party API integration experience, including REST or SOAP
Data pipeline orchestration, scheduling, retries, and monitoring experience
Solid SQL and data modeling skills
Bring backend engineering, API integration, SQL, and orchestration expertise to Syndio’s Calgary integration platform team.
