Toptal’s Management Consulting Matcher works directly with clients throughout the matching process and beyond. You will define project requirements, evaluate consultant fit, customize engagement details, and provide guidance during engagements. Success requires broad business strategy knowledge and transparent communication.
Key Responsibilities: Understand ambiguous business needs through client consultations
Translate needs into consultant skills and responsibilities
Screen applications and select suitable candidates
Customize rates, commitment types,



and engagement dates
Obtain feedback and maintain detailed platform documentation
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required
5+ years at a top-tier or reputable boutique firm
Strategic advisory experience across multiple practices
Understanding of consulting concepts, playbooks, and frameworks
Ability to meet tight deadlines with limited guidance
Bring strategic advisory judgment, consulting frameworks, and client communication skills to Toptal’s remote talent-matching work.
