Emergency Health Services seeks an Advanced Care Paramedic for its Wainwright unit and program. You will assess emergency scenes and patients, transport individuals, and lead ALS clinical care when required. The position includes ambulance operations, patient transfers, and maintaining transport readiness.
Key Responsibilities: Assess emergency scenes and patients during calls
Administer medications and provide advanced patient care
Use ALS airway adjuncts and deliver electrical therapy
Lead ALS teams during scenes or transport
Stock and maintain ambulances and transport units
Requirements: Non-restricted Alberta College of Paramedics ACP registration
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence or equivalent
Five-year driver abstract with no more than six demerits
Ability to perform full operational duties and physical demands
Bring advanced life support, emergency assessment, and transport readiness expertise to Advanced Care Paramedic service in Wainwright.
