Apply environmental fieldwork and data analysis with Arcadis as a Junior Environmental Scientist/Engineer serving projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
This full time consulting role supports the Resilience team on environmental and remediation projects. You will coordinate assigned tasks, conduct site investigations, and support remediation systems. The work requires analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, and strong health and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct environmental and geotechnical site investigations
Collect field data, soil, and groundwater samples
Prepare field logs, safety forms, and daily reports
Interpret data and compare results with applicable standards
Oversee contractors and remediation activities
Requirements: Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field
Two or more years of related experience
Understanding of soil, groundwater, and vapour sampling protocols
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Support Arcadis environmental projects through field investigation, remediation oversight, accurate reporting, and rigorous safety practices across Ontario.
