This Registered Nurse, O.R. position provides direct nursing care under BCCNM standards and Fraser Health policies. You will assess physical and psychosocial needs, coordinate care, and respond to changing patient conditions. The work includes patient advocacy, equipment preparation, documentation, and collaboration with the interprofessional care team.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
Receive patients and coordinate operating room admissions
Perform scrub and circulating duties using prescribed protocols
Prepare instruments, supplies,



and equipment for surgery
Maintain standardized counts and required documentation
Requirements: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
Current BCCNM practicing registration as a Registered Nurse
One year of recent relevant clinical nursing experience
Postgraduate coursework or certification applicable to the clinical area
Physical ability to perform position duties
Bring clinical assessment, surgical nursing, patient advocacy, and equipment coordination skills to Fraser Health’s operating room team.
