This Professional Engineer position serves CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team and its transmission project portfolio. You will prepare design bases, hardware assemblies, project documentation, and signed deliverables. The role also includes leading projects, supporting junior engineers, and managing design scope, schedule, and cost.
Key Responsibilities: Develop high-voltage overhead line designs for utilities
Prepare transmission structure and foundation designs
Produce design bases and hardware assembly drawings
Manage design scope, schedule, cost,



and estimates
Lead projects and support junior engineers
Requirements: Degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering
At least five years working on transmission projects
Registration with a Canadian Professional Engineering association
Experience controlling design scope, schedule, and cost
Solid English communication, integrity, and team spirit
Use high-voltage design, project management, and professional engineering credentials to deliver transmission solutions with CIMA+.
