As Human Resources Manager, you will independently manage local responsibilities while collaborating with the St. John's HR team. You will partner with the Edmonton Managing Director on workforce priorities and organizational challenges. The position combines strategic and operational HR across onboarding, engagement, recruitment, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee Edmonton onboarding, employee relations, engagement, and team-building initiatives
Partner with the Managing Director on people decisions
Collaborate on company-wide HR policies and priorities
Support recruitment, talent needs,



and workforce planning
Analyze people trends and metrics for informed decisions
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Five or more years of strategic and operational HR experience
Experience advising leaders and navigating employee relations matters
Strong knowledge of Alberta employment legislation and practices
Experience with people data, technology, and process improvement
Bring sound judgment, empathy, and hands-on HR leadership to Avalon Holographics' growing Edmonton operation and employees.
