This permanent Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer role serves as Professional of Record for civil deliverables supporting electrical distribution projects. You will apply civil engineering, design review, and construction knowledge to underground utility infrastructure. The work includes coordination with BC Hydro, municipalities, contractors, regulators, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as Professional of Record for utility civil deliverables
Review, approve, and seal designs under EGBC standards
Perform calculations, design reviews, and constructability assessments
Ensure compliance with BC Hydro standards and municipal requirements




Provide construction support, field reviews, and information responses
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
Qualified Engineer registration in good standing with EGBC
At least five years supporting electrical distribution infrastructure projects
AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License or equivalent
Bring professional accountability, utility design expertise, and construction support experience to underground distribution projects in British Columbia.
