Western Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre seeks an Emergency Veterinarian for its 24 hour department. Previous emergency experience is expected, while internship completion is an asset. The team provides specialty and emergency services, with Criticalists and a Critical Care Resident supporting emergency care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide emergency veterinary services and patient care
Participate in rotational overnight and weekend schedules
Collaborate with board certified veterinary specialists
Promote team based medicine practices
Coach and mentor colleagues when appropriate
Requirements: Valid DVM from an accredited university
Previous emergency veterinary experience
Passion for emergency medicine and Trauma/Critical Care
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to client and community service
