This Director position supports BMO Capital Partners’ North American middle-market investment activities. You will evaluate fund investments, direct equity, and subordinated debt opportunities while working with Managing Directors and BMO partners. The role combines transaction leadership, portfolio monitoring, relationship development, and investment analysis.
Key Responsibilities: Lead transaction origination, structuring, diligence, negotiation, and closing
Evaluate fund, equity, and subordinated debt investments
Present opportunities to Investment and Valuation Committees




Monitor portfolio companies and develop management relationships
Build networks across private equity, growth equity, and venture capital
Requirements: Seven or more years in investment banking or relevant fields
Understanding of private company financing across growth stages
Robust capital structure, principal investing, and analytical skills
Ability to lead concurrent transactions independently
Active leadership in deal teams and talent development
Apply investment judgment, transaction leadership, and relationship-building skills to BMO Capital Partners’ Toronto investment team.
