This senior-level contract-to-hire position supports architecture, development, and implementation of high-performance on-premises storage infrastructure. You will guide Ceph distributed storage across object, block, and file solutions while advising on Dell and VMware environments. The work bridges physical infrastructure and storage software for reliable, scalable designs aligned with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Design resilient on-premises storage using commodity server hardware
Provide Ceph architecture expertise across storage services
Integrate hardware configurations with software requirements and performance objectives
Support Dell and VMware ESXi virtualization environments
Investigate complex storage issues and recommend solutions
Requirements: Significant infrastructure architecture or enterprise storage experience
Solid Ceph architecture, configuration, deployment, and operations knowledge
Experience with object, block, and file storage technologies
Knowledge of servers, networking, and data centre infrastructure
Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills
