As a Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing services to patients and families undergoing wide-ranging surgical procedures. The work includes critical thinking, patient assessment, education, documentation, and collaboration. Prairieview Surgical Centre provides ophthalmology, orthopedics, general surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, vascular, urology, and pediatric dental care.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with all health care team members
Apply infection control and medication procedures
Document patient care in medical records
Educate, counsel,
and advocate for patients
Support orientation and training for new staff
Requirements: Complete an accredited nursing education program
Maintain Saskatchewan registration and practice eligibility
Hold perioperative nursing certification or equivalent preparation
Perform effectively in complex, rapidly moving environments
Lift, push, or pull more than 25 pounds
Bring perioperative nursing, clinical assessment, and patient advocacy skills to Registered Nurse care at Prairieview Surgical Centre.
