This Specialist, Risk Control position supports high-quality service for clients and partners across farm industry risk control. You will perform consultations, review third-party engineering reports, and help implement tailored service plans. Collaboration with national loss prevention teams keeps guidelines current and strengthens delivery. The position also supports management initiatives, continuous learning, internal assessments, and training seminars. Expertise spanning energy, electrical, mechanical, and fire protection risks is relevant to the work. Intact seeks a professional who can analyze complex risks, communicate clearly, and work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:



Perform quality reviews of internal risk assessment reports
Review third-party risk control and engineering reports
Implement farm industry risk control best practices
Support management efforts for service improvements
Participate in continuous learning and knowledge sharing
Requirements: At least ten years in the property and casualty insurance industry
Working knowledge of Factory Mutual Data Sheets
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment breakdown mechanisms
Robust problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
