The National Transportation Manager leads transportation, fleet, and compliance programs across a national network. Reporting to the Director, Health, Safety & Transportation, this leader balances strategic planning with operational execution. The work focuses on safety, performance, regulatory compliance, vendor partnerships, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities: Execute national transportation and fleet strategy
Oversee vehicle acquisition, maintenance, replacement, and disposal
Ensure regulatory and commercial vehicle compliance
Drive safety, driver performance, and risk initiatives
Improve metrics,



budgets, technology, and vendor performance
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
10+ years transportation, fleet, or logistics experience
5–10 years in a leadership role
Knowledge of regulations, compliance, safety, and fleet practices
Experience with budgets, TMS, telematics, GPS, and analytics
Bring strategic leadership, fleet expertise, and transportation compliance experience to Home Hardware’s national operations across Canada.
