Lead railway systems assurance for SYSTRA Canada’s GO Expansion program in office, applying technical governance and independent safety assurance expertise.
As Senior Manager, Systems Assurance, you will support Delivery Partners for Metrolinx across the GO and UP transit networks. The work centers on integrated Engineering Safety and Assurance Cases, technical evidence, and governance. You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, verification and validation, testing, commissioning, and operational evidence.
Key Responsibilities: Provide senior engineering management and independent technical governance
Develop and maintain integrated Engineering Safety and Assurance Cases
Present assurance cases to the System Review Panel
Evaluate evidence, testing, commissioning, and technical decisions
Manage hazards, compliance issues,



acceptance constraints, and readiness risks
Requirements: Engineering degree or related heavy rail technical discipline
Minimum 10 years railway assurance, systems engineering, or rail delivery experience
Heavy rail or commuter network experience evaluating technical evidence
Knowledge of Transport Canada, CROR, FRA, APTA, and Metrolinx governance
EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, or equivalent framework competency
Bring independent assurance leadership, multidisciplinary evidence evaluation, and railway governance expertise to SYSTRA Canada’s Metrolinx program.
