As a Food Service Worker at Royal Inland Hospital, you will support Interior Health’s Support Services team. This relief full-time assignment continues until the incumbent returns. The work includes ingredient measurement, vegetable preparation, meal service, beverage assembly, and meal cart delivery across dining or cafeteria operations.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients for assigned food preparation areas
Wash and peel produce for food preparation
Assemble tea, coffee, sandwiches, and salads
Prepare bag lunches and Meals on Wheels items
Deliver meal carts and clean service areas
Requirements: Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
Current Food Safe Certificate
Reliable and adaptable work approach
Motivation to support hospital food service
Availability for rotating evening work
Use your food preparation, meal assembly, and service skills supporting Royal Inland Hospital’s daily operations.
