At Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, this experienced Social Worker III provides advanced assessment and treatment or serves as a clinical lead. The work supports older adults facing complex mental health, cognitive, behavioral, substance use, and chronic health challenges. Services follow recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive frameworks.
Key Responsibilities: Complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments for older adult patients
Contribute to team-oriented care planning and discharge coordination
Facilitate community, financial, housing, and legal resource access




Co-facilitate psychoeducation and behavioral activation groups
Provide consultation, supervision, and clinical leadership as assigned
Requirements: Master’s degree in Social Work
Active or eligible Alberta College registration
Minimum three years’ mental health care experience
Minimum one year facilitating therapeutic skills groups
Training in crisis intervention and evidence-based therapies
Use assessment, advocacy, group facilitation, and care coordination skills to support older adults through complex psychiatric care.
