Lead product direction for trading, funding, and settlement at CIBC through strategic roadmaps, release planning, and risk management in Toronto.
This Product Owner guides a larger Squad responsible for a broad and complex mission. You will manage priorities, convert client and business needs into actionable requirements, and coordinate delivery across Crews, Squads, and business units. The hybrid arrangement includes one to three onsite days weekly, with remaining days remote.
Key Responsibilities: Set product vision, goals, and roadmap for the Squad
Manage backlog priorities across business, client, and technology needs
Plan releases and adjust priorities as needs change
Resolve cross-Squad risks, issues, and dependencies
Collaborate with stakeholders, technology partners, and vendors
Requirements: Strategic product ownership experience in complex environments
Backlog management and user story experience
Release planning and application delivery experience
Risk management and stakeholder management experience
Mentoring Product Owners is an asset
Bring risk management, product roadmap development, and cross-functional partnership to CIBC’s trading, funding, and settlement products.
