As a Mental Health and Substance Use Outpatient Services Nurse, you provide flexible treatment services within a psychosocial rehabilitation model. You work with clients experiencing mental illness and concurrent substance use concerns. The interdisciplinary team includes psychiatry, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, psychology, and counselling.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct intake and mental health assessments
Develop treatment plans and provide crisis intervention
Complete outreach visits and emergency referrals
Provide counseling,



education, and support groups
Coordinate access across the care continuum
Requirements: Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
Three years’ recent related treatment-services experience
Current BCCNM registration as RN or RPN
Valid British Columbia driver’s license
Broad knowledge of addictions treatment and psychopharmacology
