Health Link needs an experienced Registered Nurse for telephone triage and patient counselling. You will evaluate concerns, provide health advice, and connect callers with appropriate care. Clinical software, databases, and protocols support your decisions.
Key Responsibilities: Provide telephone triage services to callers across Alberta
Evaluate, triage, and counsel patients with diverse concerns
Deliver accurate health advice and information
Use clinical software, databases, and clinical protocols
Ask relevant questions and support appropriate care decisions
Requirements: Accredited nursing education program completion
Active or eligible College of Registered Nurses of Alberta registration
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider certification
Three to five years recent registered nursing experience
Advanced assessment, critical thinking, and probing skills
Bring clinical nursing expertise, active listening, and independent assessment skills to Health Link’s provincial telephone triage service.
