Deliver advanced pediatric nutrition support at Alberta Children’s Hospital, serving complex inpatients through oral, enteral, and parenteral care. Weekend virtual on-call shifts are scheduled.
This full-time Dietitian I provides nutrition expertise for pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Blood/Marrow Transplant patients. The work combines direct care, consultation, and evidence-informed planning with interdisciplinary health care teams. You will also contribute to patient education, professional teaching, and continuing practice competencies.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate pediatric nutrition care plans
Develop and implement comprehensive inpatient nutrition interventions
Provide nutrition consultation across all care modes
Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving,



and conflict resolution
Maintain qualified competencies through development activities
Requirements: Minimum three years of pediatric clinical nutrition experience
Knowledge of complex pediatric medical diagnoses preferred
Strong infant, childhood nutrition, and feeding behaviour understanding
Effective multidisciplinary health care team collaboration
Strong behavioural counselling skills
Use advanced pediatric nutrition support knowledge and prioritization skills in Calgary inpatient pediatric units.
