This position requires collaboration with an integrated healthcare team, accurate medical documentation, infection control, medication procedures, and confidentiality. Candidates need accredited nursing education and active or eligible registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Licenced Practical Nurses.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
Follow infection control and medication administration procedures
Document patient care accurately in medical records
Support orientation and education for new facility staff
Maintain confidentiality and company policy compliance
Requirements: Complete an accredited nursing education program
Hold active or eligible Saskatchewan practical nurse registration
Have perioperative nursing certification, education, or equivalent experience
Wear lead apron protection for extended periods
Lift, push, or pull more than 25 pounds
Bring perioperative knowledge, clinical documentation, infection control, and cooperative practice to Prairieview Surgical Centre’s operating room.
