This Accountant role combines financial analysis, reporting, and assurance work within MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team. You will apply IFRS, GAAP, and ASPE knowledge while preparing client information and engagement materials. The position supports development across audits, reviews, compilations, bookkeeping, and tax.
Key Responsibilities: Apply IFRS, GAAP, and ASPE knowledge to client work
Assess audit evidence for revenues, expenses, and receivables
Establish charts of accounts and prepare posting entries
Prepare technical reports, client summaries, and presentations
Investigate financial discrepancies and irregularities
Requirements: Commerce or business administration degree completed or underway
Accounting or finance specialization preferred
CPA Qualified Education Program prerequisites completed or underway
Client service experience considered an asset
Accounting and tax software experience considered an asset
Bring financial reporting, assurance, and developing CPA knowledge to client engagements with MNP’s Canadian accounting team.
