Provide resident care at AgeCare Jasper Place in Edmonton as a part time Health Care Aide using safe, thorough basic care skills.
As a Health Care Aide, you will collaborate with the care team under Staff Nurse supervision. You will support personal comfort, mobility, nutrition, routine treatments, and daily activities. English fluency and recognized PCA or HCA certification are required.
Key Responsibilities: Bathe, shower, and wash residents following care procedures
Assist transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
Feed residents according to individual care plans
Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
Accompany residents to meals, therapy, and recreation
Requirements: Recognized Personal Care Aide or Health Care Aide certificate
Active registration with CLHA
Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
One year continuing care experience preferred
Post-secondary education is an asset
Support AgeCare residents with personal care, protected transfers, nutrition, treatments, and compassionate daily assistance in Edmonton.
