The AM Sorter separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules. No experience or specialized education is required for this warehouse workplace role. You will unload, load, preload, transfer, and scan freight, mail, and packages.
Key Responsibilities: Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor
Move freight from conveyors or chutes for load-out
Load linehaul, cube trucks, or trailers
Preload mail and packages into delivery vehicles
Scan shipments and identify improperly sorted packages
Requirements: Use proper scanning and loading techniques
Lift or carry up to 70 pounds
Work with urgency in time-sensitive conditions
Work effectively as part of a team
Complete required screening and employment verification
Bring careful scanning, safe freight handling, and timely loading to Purolator’s AM sorting operations in Grande Prairie.
