UPS seeks permanent, part-time Yard Shifters for Vancouver Hub Operations. You will couple and uncouple tractor trailers, move containers, and position equipment for package handling operations. Selected candidates receive training for the position and must follow established safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Couple and uncouple tractor trailers
Move containers and trailers within defined areas
Drive and reverse dollies and trailers
Follow safe and defensive driving methods
Complete other directed work as required
Requirements: Valid British Columbia Class 5 driver’s license
Clean driver’s abstract
Lift and push up to 70 pounds
Work in changing temperatures and loud environments
Assist with occasional extra weekend work
Use your Class 5 license, trailer maneuvering skills, and safety focus as a UPS Yard Shifter in Richmond.
