Support residents at Carlingwood Retirement with personal care, CPR, First Aid, and compassionate service throughout each assigned shift.
This part time Personal Support Worker provides resident care according to individual care plans. The position involves personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, meals, call bells, and reporting resident changes. You will receive direction from the RPN charge nurse and work with the care team.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver and receive reports at each shift change
Provide hygiene, dressing, and bathing support
Respond promptly to call bells and resident requests
Assist with meal preparation and tray service
Report resident changes, incidents, and equipment concerns
Requirements: Community College Health Care Attendant or Personal Support Worker Certificate
Equivalent experience may be considered
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Two or more years of experience, preferably geriatric
Empathy, communication skills, and interest in working with seniors
Bring personal care, resident communication, infection control, and teamwork skills to Carlingwood Retirement as a Personal Support Worker.
