The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing stock management, maintaining store presentation standards, managing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with operational policies. You will lead by example, motivating the team to deliver excellent customer service and uphold the brand's reputation. This is a full time, in-store position requiring a proactive approach and a strong understanding of retail operations. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience in a retail setting and a passion for sports and fitness. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Manage stockroom organization, receiving, and inventory counts.
Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained on the sales floor and in displays.
Assist in staff scheduling and manage daily team performance.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures.




Monitor and manage store supplies and operational equipment.
Handle customer inquiries and elevate complex issues to the Store Manager.
Assist in training new employees on operational procedures.
Drive operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and performance targets.
Requirements Previous experience in a retail supervisory role or as a senior sales associate.
Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good leadership and team motivation capabilities.
Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent; further training in retail management is an asset.
