Support resident well-being at AgeCare as a Dietary Aide, serving meals courteously while maintaining safe, sanitary kitchen and dining areas.
The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation and service in AgeCare’s person-centered long-term care environment. Duties include preparing beverages, salads, and desserts, supporting tray service, and maintaining dining operations. The position also involves catering, special occasions, and theme events.
Key Responsibilities: Serve meals to residents and guests professionally and courteously
Prepare beverages, salads, desserts, and other service items
Set and clear dining tables as required
Deliver tray service and clean dishware and cutlery
Maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness
Requirements: Food Handler's Certificate
Food Service Worker Training Program enrollment or completion
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to lift and transfer heavy, hot items
Ability to stand or walk most of the shift
Bring courteous meal service, food preparation, and sanitation skills to AgeCare’s resident-focused dining workplace.
