Monitor security systems and dispatch calls as an On-Call Dispatcher for the Town of Mount Royal. Serve citizens across rotating shifts.
Under Captain supervision and Sergeant guidance, this position handles telephone and in-person inquiries, routes calls, and records information. Duties include video surveillance, access control, alarms, emergency intercoms, databases, and radio systems. The schedule rotates through days, evenings, nights, weekdays, and weekends as operational needs require.
Key Responsibilities: Receive, log, and dispatch call center communications
Monitor cameras, access controls, alarms, and intercoms
Serve citizens at the Public Safety counter
Enter permits and relevant information into databases
Check panic buttons, cameras, phone lines, and equipment
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
One year of relevant employment experience
French and English spoken and written
Knowledge of radio systems
Precision, autonomy, organization, and prioritization skills
Bring transparent reporting, analytical judgment, and security monitoring skills to the Town of Mount Royal dispatch centre.
