Lead direct support for adults with intellectual disabilities at Simaril Supported Living, using communication and care planning skills in Manitoba.
This full time Case Worker provides leadership within Simaril’s support team. You will assist with services, follow-up, individual planning, and program planning. The position involves communication with individuals, families, team members, stakeholders, and external agencies while supporting desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct support and advocate for individuals supported
Identify services and contribute to individual planning
Maintain communication with families and external agencies
Ensure services support desired outcomes and goals
Participate in on-call rotation and crisis support
Requirements: Two to three years of full-time direct support experience
Leadership experience and related post-secondary education
Proficiency with Excel, word processing, email, and internet
Valid Manitoba driver’s license and safe work vehicle
Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler certification
Bring direct support, leadership, communication, and planning skills to Simaril’s community-based services for adults with disabilities.
