At Linamar Corporation, the Financial Analyst conducts, documents, and reviews moderate to complex financial analysis projects. The position supports accounting accuracy and compliance with established standards and procedures. Work includes monthly close activities, entity reporting, validation checks, and internal and external financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post monthly journal entries
Collect, review, and consolidate Linamar entity reports
Validate entity data for completeness and accuracy
Draft and review standard and ad-hoc reports
Review and supervise junior staff work
Requirements: Degree in accounting, business, commerce, or related discipline
CPA designation or significant certification progress
Two to three years of related financial experience
Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP reporting principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
Use financial analysis, reporting, and review skills to support accurate consolidated results at Linamar in Guelph.
