This full time SEO and AI Search Manager role combines technical leadership with clear client-facing judgment. You will own crawlability, indexation, site speed, schema, architecture, keywords, and on-page optimization. Writers and AI produce drafts, while you set priorities and explain the ranking story. Your work spans Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and classic organic search.
Key Responsibilities: Build technical roadmaps for each client
Set content priorities with writers and AI
Explain ranking changes during client conversations
Improve crawlability, indexation, speed, schema, and architecture
Maintain quarterly client roadmaps and reporting
Requirements: Three-plus years managing SEO hands-on
Technical audit and implementation experience
Proficiency with Screaming Frog and Search Console
Working knowledge of GA4, Ahrefs, or Semrush
Clear spoken English for live US client calls
Use technical SEO judgment and AI search knowledge to shape measurable client roadmaps at Blacksmith Agency.
