Support The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign through volunteer coordination, campaign scheduling, and donor service. This temporary position includes wide-ranging shifts and local travel.
As Christmas Kettle Volunteer Supervisor, you coordinate workflow for kettle workers throughout the campaign. You assign and support staff and volunteers, respond to emergency absences, and foster positive relationships with kettle sites. The position also includes supervising coverage, handling donations securely, and maintaining accurate campaign records.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate schedules for kettle staff and volunteers
Respond to absences and arrange necessary site coverage
Orient workers on kettle handling and duties




Answer donor questions about Salvation Army ministries
Retrieve campaign equipment and supplies after completion
Requirements: Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
Integrity, adaptability, punctuality, and confidentiality
Customer service experience and money handling knowledge
Office administration experience with Word and Excel
Successful completion of required screening and background checks
