Toromont Cat seeks a full-time, permanent Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician. You will repair equipment in the field, maintain quality workmanship, and support trusted customer relationships. The role requires secure work behaviours, mechanical diagnosis, and strong communication during regular site visits.
Key Responsibilities: Travel directly to customer sites in a Toromont Service truck
Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment
Repair Caterpillar equipment within established field time standards
Maintain safe, environmentally sound, and healthy work behaviours
Communicate regularly with customers during on-site visits
Requirements: Valid technician license meeting provincial standards
Minimum three years repairing and servicing heavy equipment
Experience working in both shop and field environments
Familiarity with Cat systems, including ET and SIS
Valid driver's licence; DZ licence preferred
