Lead financial reporting and analysis at Lee Valley as a full-time Senior Accountant supporting month-end close, forecasts, and management decisions.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this senior role combines hands-on accounting with planning and reporting. You will prepare financial statements, investigate variances, develop financial models, and support budgeting. The position also contributes to audits, controls, and regulatory submissions.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
Complete journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities
Explain variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
Develop reports and models supporting business decisions




Prepare year-end audit schedules and supporting information
Requirements: CPA designation and university degree in accounting or related field
At least three years of relevant financial experience
Strong knowledge of ASPE and reporting principles
Advanced Microsoft Excel and business intelligence skills
Robust analysis, judgment, communication, and attention to detail
Apply financial reporting, Excel, and analytical expertise to strengthen planning and decision support at Lee Valley.
