Aerotek is seeking a contract Millwright for a food manufacturing plant handling processing and packaging equipment. This position emphasizes machine monitoring, format changeovers, minor electrical repairs, and recurring issue elimination. Candidates need a 433A license, computer literacy, installation experience, and commitment to GMP and plant safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor operating machines and adjust equipment for quality control
Investigate performance issues and recommend machinery improvements
Complete minor electrical repairs to minimize equipment downtime
Participate in sanitation, changeovers, Poka Yoke,
and SMED activities
Apply root cause analysis to recurring equipment problems
Requirements: Solid mechanical aptitude troubleshooting high-speed industrial machinery
Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright license
Computer literacy using maintenance and production software systems
Experience installing and modifying industrial equipment
Commitment to food safety, GMP, and plant procedures
Use mechanical troubleshooting, changeover, and machinery repair skills to support dependable production at Aerotek’s Scarborough food plant.
