Ledcor Highways is seeking safety-oriented candidates for an entry-level Student Operator position. The program fully funds selected applicants’ upgrade from a G class license to DZ. Training builds the skills required for safe, competent snowplow operation, with work supporting winter and summer operations across the province. This opportunity may lead to full time or seasonal employment.
Key Responsibilities: Upgrade a G class license to a DZ license
Participate in fully funded operator training
Build skills for winter snowplow operations
Help keep highways and communities safe
Work in camp on an assigned rotation
Requirements: Maintain safety-oriented standards and quality commitment
Hold a minimum unrestricted Class 5 license
Have a clean driver’s abstract
Pass required MTO medical and vision screening
Commit to the minimum employment term
Prepare for highway maintenance through Ledcor’s DZ training pathway, snowplow development, and safety-focused operational support.
