BCIT’s School of Energy is seeking a regular, full time (1.0 FTE) Faculty, Electrical Engineering and Technology to join the Department of Electrical Engineering and Technology at the Burnaby campus. The position will primarily support the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) diploma, Automation and Instrumentation option.
The successful candidate will teach theory and laboratory courses; develop, maintain, and continuously improve course materials and learning activities; assess student learning and provide timely feedback; supervise applied student projects; and contribute to departmental and program activities. The role requires current industry knowledge, strong hands-on capability, and a commitment to inclusive, applied education that prepares graduates for employment in automation, instrumentation, and process-control environments.
As a member of a team-oriented faculty team, the successful candidate will support student success, curriculum currency, secure laboratory practice, and the effective operation and continuous improvement of the program.
