As a School Meals Coordinator, you report to the Chef Instructor/Principal and liaise with school administrators. You help deliver the School Meals Program by preparing lunches and light breakfasts, organizing catered items, managing supplies, and maintaining clean eating areas. The work includes school-site delivery and kitchen equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare lunches, light breakfasts, and catered snacks
Deliver food to designated school sites
Organize meals and support food supply inventory
Retrieve dishes, cutlery, and trays from eating areas
Dispose of waste and clean designated areas
Requirements: Grade 10 plus equivalent training and experience
Active Food Protected Level 1
Knowledge of nutrition and Canada Food Guide
Valid BC Class 5 driver's license
Personal vehicle with required delivery insurance
Bring food preparation, delivery, inventory, and cleaning skills to School District 43's centralized school meals service.
