Prepare nutritious meals at Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre using food service, customer service, and organizational skills in a regular part time schedule.
As a Food Service I, you will complete routine food preparation tasks under a Food Services Supervisor’s general supervision. Your work supports patients, residents, staff, visitors, and the community through quality meal service. You will prepare, portion, package, serve, and deliver meals while maintaining established standards.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, handle, portion, and package food and beverages
Assemble trays and serve meals in dining areas
Deliver and collect patient meal trays
Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables, and serving areas
Follow safety, sanitation, and food preparation standards
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Ability to lift food, supplies, and equipment up to 46 pounds
Ability to push and pull meal carts up to 250 pounds
Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts
Basic computer applications knowledge and experience
Bring accurate food preparation, meal delivery, and patient-focused service to the Willow Creek healthcare food services team.
