Operate snow plows and salt or sand spreaders from Frobisher Depot in Roads Operations. This position requires protected truck operation and shift work.
The City of Greater Sudbury seeks a Truck Driver for Linear Infrastructure Services within Community Infrastructure. Under Foreperson supervision, you will operate heavy or light trucks with attachments, service vehicles, and maintain records. The work includes road maintenance across designated roadways, lanes, parking lots, and other areas.
Key Responsibilities: Operate trucks with related attachments on construction and maintenance work
Sand, salt, and plow designated roads, lanes, and parking lots
Transport personnel, materials, merchandise, and equipment
Inspect, clean, service,



and report vehicle defects daily
Record appropriate information in the Vehicle Log Book
Requirements: Successful completion of Secondary School Grade XII education
Minimum two years of truck driving experience
Valid Class DZ licence and acceptable driving record
Mechanical knowledge and maintenance instruction reading ability
Availability for shift work and winter callouts
Use your truck driving, snow removal, and vehicle maintenance skills supporting Greater Sudbury roads through April 30, 2027.
