Teach coding, robotics, and Minecraft with MakerKids while guiding children through creative STEM programs across Toronto and Mississauga.
This STEM Instructor role supports after-school, weekend, camp, workshop, and off-site programming for children aged 5-13. You will use Scratch, Python, Roblox Studio, Unreal Engine, Unity, and other platforms. The work includes adapting project-based lessons for wide-ranging skill levels and creating inclusive classrooms.
Key Responsibilities: Teach STEM classes in coding, robotics, and Minecraft
Lead projects using Scratch, Python, and coding platforms
Adapt lessons for beginner through advanced learners
Create positive, inclusive, inspiring student environments
Communicate student progress and enthusiasm with parents
Requirements: Previous experience working with children ages 5-12
Strong STEM education and computer science knowledge
Knowledge of Minecraft, coding platforms, and robotics
Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, or willingness
Bring coding, classroom management, and child-focused teaching experience to MakerKids STEM programs in Toronto and Mississauga.
