Registered Practical Nurses provide scheduled community visits, using patient assessment and care planning skills across diverse home settings. This is a part time position.
At ParaMed, this community nursing position supports patients of all ages and differing care complexities. You will work with support from Registered Nurses for more complex patients, helping people remain comfortable at home. Autonomy, independence, and work-life balance define the opportunity.
Key Responsibilities: Complete scheduled community visits within your scope of practice
Provide ethical and safe nursing care
Assess individual patient needs using appropriate tools
Execute, monitor, and adjust care plans
Maintain professional patient records and encounter plans
Requirements: Register with CNO as an RPN in good standing
Hold a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Travel between patient residences within designated areas
Demonstrate reliability and flexibility
Provide required after-hours on-call coverage
Use community nursing, assessment, and care-planning skills to support comfortable home living as a ParaMed Registered Practical Nurse.
