Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a Personal Support Worker reporting to the Director of Care. The role supports residents’ physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Duties include bathing, grooming, feeding, ambulation, activities, care planning, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming
Support resident participation in activity programs
Deliver meals and nourishment, providing feeding assistance
Provide emotional, social, and palliative care support
Participate in care conferences and resident documentation
Requirements: Complete an approved PSW program of at least 600 hours
Bring long-term care experience, considered an asset
Understand care planning systems and documentation
Communicate positively with residents, families, and staff
Complete vulnerable sector and two-step TB checks
Support residents at Warkworth Place through compassionate personal care, documentation, communication, and dependable all-shift availability.
